Play Your Part

I have put you in the place you are right now my child. I have given you the anointing and the ability to fulfill the role you are playing right now. Imagine a team of basket ball players. Each one has their position and each one knows how to fulfill the role in the position they have been given.

Someone who is good at scoring points will not suddenly now run to the back to help out with the defense. If they leave their post, then points will not be scored. And if the defense leaves their post then the opposing team will quickly score points.

You see, each one is placed where they need to be. So stand strong where you are and shine where I have placed you. Rely on those around you and as each one slots into their place, you will see my love bind you together in unity and you will see how everything works together so smoothly.

Do not try to fulfill the function and role of another but press into what I have given you to do. As you do that, the frustration you have been feeling will fall away. As you do that, the weariness you feel will fall away. I have given you the grace to do what you are doing right now.

You do not have to go and win the grace of another, but just stand in what I have empowered you to do. Then you will shine and then you will be a vessel of glory in my hands, says the Lord. AMEN

The Inner Resources

You have grown weary in the race and it seems like you have depleted your resources. But you need to realise that I have abundant resources. For my resources are like a great dam of water that has accumulated behind the dam wall, waiting to be released as the sluice gates open. You have been pouring forth from your own limited resources, and your stream has run dry. Now learn to draw from the resources that I have given you.

So stop, and spend time in my presence. And as you look inwards to my Spirit within, you will realise that my power within you is not limited. It does not lack in strength or in volume, but it waits behind closed doors, just like the water behind the closed sluice gates. All you need to do is open wide those gates and let me do the work.

You will stand by in amazement, along with those you minister to, as you see my power flow forth from you. And you will realize that it is of me and that I delight to bless through you. No more self-effort then. Just open your heart and let me flow out!

Something to think about
A young man was getting ready to graduate from college.

For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealers showroom, and knowing that his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car.

Finally, on the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his private study.

His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.

Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather bound Bible, with the young man's name embossed in gold.

Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said, "With all your money you give me a Bible?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him.

He had not seen him since that graduation day.

But before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.

When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.

He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages.

His father has carefully underlined a verse, Matthew 7:11, "And if ye, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly Father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?"

As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible.

It had a tag with the dealers name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words....PAID IN FULL.

How many times have we missed God's blessings because they are not packaged as we expected?

Today, just be grateful. You may not be in the best situation in life but remain grateful and trust God that He's in control.

Material possessions add nothing
to making your life any better....
There are a lot of people who have
a lot of ?things? though remain absolutely
miserable.
So it won't do anything for you
unless you're a happy person
knowing the peace of God
which only comes through
being in a right relationship
with Jesus Christ!


"The LORD will give strength to his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace." Psalm 29:11

We have heard this before @ NJDCR Ministries, rightttt,
Steven Killpatrick reminds us how the Cheap Grace mindset can ruin our lives and drive us away from God.

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

What starts out as a simple thought may ultimately determine our destiny, even our eternal destiny.

The writer of the above statement must have heard or read the words of Solomon found in Proverbs 23:7: "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he."

Our thoughts reflect the person we really are. If we have thoughts which are hateful, they will manifest themselves as words--actions--habits.

If, however, we fill our hearts with positive things, can anything but good actions result?

Paul summed it up rightly when he wrote in Philippians 4:8, (NIV) "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things."

Think about "these things." If we occupy our time on thoughts concerning "these things," it cannot help but result in an eternal destiny with God the Father. We are what we think.

In addition, don't give up on thinking about God's promises to you.

It's HARVEST time again,
Harvest- A time to reap what has been sown during seedtime.
Question: What did you sow last year? Was it (Good deeds/God's will- Glorify God Love, joy peace, friendship, a kind word, obediance,building up a saint, not giving up, helping others, gentleness, self-control, prayer, a sweet smile or was it slander, jealous motives, put downs, false accusations, self righteousness, harrassment, persecution, unrighteousness, in other words the deveil deeds. Remember seedtime is real and true for the good and the bad. You plant it, you get it back.
Hope your harvest results were in the will of God.

Yes, who ever suggested that we start on the topic of prayer to God be the Glory. While studying this topic, God has opened my eyes to a whole new look on how to pray. I pray that we all receive an understanding of what prayer really is and how to really pray! God Bless you all!

Thanks Sister Barbara, I'm glad we chose Prayer for the Bible Study Topic. Reminder to all we can't take anyone where we haven't gone. Keep praying and encouraging other to do the same.
